Calatrava's work demonstrates a sense of animalistic character and can be described as 'alien', 'spacelike', 'futuristic',' structurally dominant'. Calatrava gathers inspiration from nature and the animal world to create structures that are visually opposite, but are intrinsically reflective of these observations of nature. The house should reflect these similar ideals and Calatrava should be able to relate able the design process of 'his' own home and his work.
